Emmetts Trucks are 100% New Zealand owned and have operated for over 30 years. The company was established in 1987 and has grown to employ 40 staff. 25 are qualified or trainee mechanics. Both workshops provide modern equipment and facilities to maintain a wide variety of heavy vehicles including drive-through pits, brake testing machines and truck hoists.
Good environmental practices are carried out at both branches. Waste oil, oil filters, cardboard and batteries are collected and recycled. Rainwater is harvested, stored and reused at our Wanganui workshop and solar energy is used at our Palmerston North branch.

Emmetts Truck Services was founded in 1987, with the original premises in Wanganui. Ten years later an additional facility was started in Palmerston North, and in 2001 the company moved to their existing site on Tremaine Ave.
Our workshop inspection facility features top-of-the-range testing equipment, including two 27m precast service pits, each with inbuilt MAHA roller brake testing systems.
